The Cantina of the producers of Merano or Kellerei Meran, is deeply rooted in the culture of territory. Tradition, landscape and viticulture have always been closely linked to the meranese territory. The first stone for the foundation of Cantina was laid in 1901 with very few winegrowers. Today, in the distance of more than a century and the merger of the Cantina Burggräfler and the Cantina Wine Merano in 2010, the wine cooperative has more than 360 partners. It is only with their support that the work for the restructuring and expansion of the Cantinahas been successfully carried out. The reopening in June 2013 has ushered in a new era.
