years. I thought this was part of the standard range similar to the offerings of The Singleton of Glen Ord, however I think now this is the case only to add even more confusion to the range of three distilleries "The Singleton."
APPEARANCE Ambra intense or burnt orange.
CORPO Di medium body and pleasantly enveloping.
PERFUME A slightly spicy and desiccated nose, overall. Caramelized apples. Sentries of favo balanced by remnants of juvenile freshness-linen oil and fragrant tea. It becomes more fruity : mature autumnal fruits combined with the spiciness of the red berries. Notes of malt and cereals. A bit of sweetness to the gold syrup. Reassuringly well balanced. The addition of water makes it appear initially a more cery note, with traces of sweet and angelic glace chestnut, and then a blowback of smoke or charred wood.
PALATO Without water, the taste is sweet at first to then dry in the finale. Warm, light and smooth ; tendent to the delicate. Malnate background notes and oats. Macedonia of fresh fruit, with spicy and floral head notes. With the addition of water you have a pleasant feeling in your mouth. A bit of sweetness, even if the overall effect remains balanced and dry.
FINITURA Drying. Pears and digestive biscuits, then delicately spiced with notes of anise.
